One of those Weekends in England. August 19, 20, 21, 2011

Friday 19th August saw Chris performing at Eve & John's wedding at Gerbstone Manor a wonderful 16th century manor house in the heart of Somerset.

Sat 20th August. Rock 'n Rolls equivalent of Lord Lucan Chris Rainbows Wild Bunch UK performed a great show at the Green Dragon Wellington with old mucker John Coyle back on the bass and the handsome one Tony White on the drums.Standout tracks included Black Magic Woman, Dr Feelgood's Back In The Night a surprising inclusion of Gene Vincent's Rocky Road Blues and to finish what else but a rousing Jim Dandy To The Rescue. Will they be doing it again any time soon ? You Betcha !

Sun 21st August. Chris appeared at the Dolphin Pub in Wellington for their annual BBQ bash and beano playing some great rock n' roll and blues in the beer garden. Great to see a lot of old friends among the locals.
Congratulations to Eve & Jon. Thanks to Ruth & Brian ( Green Dragon ) and Nick & Jo (  The Dolphin ).

Chris and Ron Jones live at the Plough Aberaman South Wales Feb 9th 2011

On sat 19th June 2010 friends of the band and some unsuspecting locals were treated to a great night of rock and blues at the Green Dragon Pub in Somerset. The gig was the first to feature Chris's "New Bunch". Experienced rock bassist Gordon Broadley and top class drummer Alan Burgess.
Standout tracks from the night included Albert King's "The Hunter",J.J.Cales "Magnolia",Robert Johnson's "Crossroad Blues " and a great version of the old Johnny Kidd rocker "I Can Tell".
All being well the band will be back at the venue on the 25th September.
Work is also underway on a new christmas E.P. and accompanying videos. The tracks, all Wild Bunch originals are "Christmas In Rockwell","Wivey Washer" and "Don't Get Me Started!"

On the 25th of September 2010 Chris Rainbow's Wild Bunch UK made a welcome return to the Green Dragon,Wellington,Somerset. A good crowd enjoyed a great night of rock and blues.Buddy Guy's
"Watch Yourself" ,a great "All Along the Watchtower" and an instrumental version of Chris's
"Fast Lane Rider Blues" were among the numbers played. The Band finished in fine style with
"Black Night" and biker anthem "Born to be Wild".With some dates already scheduled for 2011 Chris is busy writing and recording tracks for the follow up to "Oaken Ground" which will hopefully be released in April or May next year.As usual Chris is working with Big Ted at Arena Studios Rockwell Green.
